Dr Amy Knapman Veterinarian

Amy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011, after which she spent three years in busy first opinion practice in the south east before undertaking a rotating internship in 2014. This sparked an interest in further study, and eyes in particular. She was awarded the BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Ophthalmology in 2022 and has recently completed a specialist ophthalmology internship. She joined FirstVet in July 2023 and plans to go on to study for her ECVO Diploma in Ophthalmology in the coming years. When not working, Amy enjoys reading, hiking, outdoor swimming and cycling. She was a Rome Marathon finisher in 2022 and is now trying to learn some (very basic!) Italian.
