James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009. His first job was working at the RSPCA hospital in Manchester, where he adopted his first rescue cat. James has worked at a variety of small animal practices in both London and Manchester. He enjoys all the varied and challenging aspects of general practice. James has a special interest in infectious diseases and dermatology. When not working, he enjoys traveling to faraway places, trying to keep on top of the weeds in his garden, and resisting the urge to adopt any more pets! James joined FirstVet in October 2021.
