Kat graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012. After graduation she went on to complete a 12 month rotating internship at a private referral hospital in the North West. Upon completing her internship Kathryn has been working in first opinion small animal practice ever since. Kat currently works in practice in the North West in a consulting only role and is working towards her certificate in small animal internal medicine with the BSAVA. Kat loves all aspects of being a general practitioner and is particularly interested in feline medicine and the management of chronic pain in small animals. She lives with her husband, young son and 2 rescue cats, Mango and Hendricks. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, music and baking. Kat joined FirstVet in June 2021.
