Lesley graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011. After graduation, she spent 4 weeks in Langkawi, Malaysia volunteering for a charity clinic where we treated pets and ran a busy stray neutering scheme. Lesley was offered a permanent job with the charity whilst volunteering and worked there for two years. Lesley then volunteered in Thailand for four weeks at Lanta Animal Welfare, before moving to Singapore where she worked for a purpose built and very busy small animal hospital for three years. Whilst in Singapore, Lesley adopted a stray dog named Marvel who came into the clinic after being hit by a car. She moved back to the UK with her partner and Marvel in 2017. Initially Lesley worked as a locum vet before becoming lead vet in a first opinion small animal practice, where she currently works. In my spare time Lesley enjoys eating pastries, walks in the countryside with Marvel, eating her husband's cooking and sometimes will reluctantly head to the gym in an attempt to burn off the calories from all the pastries. Lesley joined FirstVet in March 2021.
