Mark has worked as a veterinary surgeon since qualifying in 2016. Originally from the West of Ireland, he worked for a year in North Wales with both large and small animals. Having then decided to move to South Wales, he now works mainly with small animals, undertaking routine consultations and surgery. Mark joined the UK FirstVet team in early 2020 and is looking forward to working in new and innovative ways to care for pets and their owners. He has two cats - Honey and Fudge, as well as a number of Connemara horses, which he breeds back home in Ireland. Mark enjoys travelling and seeing the world, whenever possible, to gain new experiences, and looks forward to consulting with you soon!
