Dara Raynah Jones Veterinary Technician

Jones 2

Dara Raynah Jones began her journey in animal care as a volunteer dog walker for NYC’s Animal Care & Control in 2012. In 2013, she transitioned to an adoption counselor with ACC and never looked back. In 2015, Dara became more interested in veterinary medicine and began working as a veterinary technician at emergency/specialty hospitals. She has had cool experiences working as a tech in emergency care, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and feline radioactive therapy (I-131). Since 2019, Dara has been working in general practice, where she enjoys routine veterinary care and all the kitten, and puppy visits. Dara has a huge passion for travel and exploration, which has allowed her to work in vet med in some of her favorite cities, such as NYC, DC, and Boston, where she currently resides. Dara would love to do some volunteer work with rescues in the Caribbean one day. She is Fear Free certified, and has 2 fur children, a Staffordshire Terrier named Martini, and an Exotic Shorthair mix named Loti. Dara joined FirstVet in 2022.
