The role:
In this role, you will maintain cross-team collaboration, with a focus on driving technical solutions from start to completion. Right now, our company is in the midst of a growth phase, particularly in enhancing our technological infrastructure. Our current focus is on operational standards, monitoring and automation, where you will play a key part. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with establishing best practices for building and deploying pipelines and provisioning resources.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure that we have the infrastructure, tooling, and delivery pipelines in place that allow the teams to develop and operate our services in an efficient and independent way
- Continuously strive to make our infrastructure more available, secure, stable, performant and scalable across multiple regions
- Make sure that we have good metrics, monitoring, and alerting in place
- Develop and improve our CI/CD pipelines as well as other automation tasks
- Share best practices and spread knowledge to the other members of the team
The person we are looking for:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a collaborative mindset, demonstrating a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and ensure the delivery of dependable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is used to taking ownership of tasks and proactively identifying opportunities for automation and optimization. Further, we believe you are adaptable, and equipped with robust problem-solving skills to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Desired qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and automation
- Experience from fast-growing and/or scale-up tech companies, where rapid iteration and scaling infrastructure are common challenges
- Previous experience in working with cloud-based environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with infrastructure as code frameworks such as Terraform, Pulumi or similar
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Programming/scripting skills in a programming language such as Python, JavaScript/Typescript, PHP and Bash
- Good understanding of container and orchestration technology such as Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
- You understand the value of collaboration and partnership within a team
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
