Barbara graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Health Science. She obtained her Veterinary Technologist License in 2009. Barbara has wanted to work with animals since she was 4 years old and started volunteering at her local veterinary hospital at the age of 15. She has worked in a variety of practice types from Emergency, Internal Medicine/Critical Care, Cat Only to General Medicine. One of her favorite aspects of working in the veterinary field is Client Communication and Education. She believes that to give the best patient care she must start with thoroughly understanding the owner and pet themselves. Barbara currently resides in Surf City USA (Huntington Beach, CA) with her husband, daughter, 2 indoor cats, many outdoor cats, and a 13 year old goldfish. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, visiting Disneyland, cooking/baking and crafting.
