How to Use FirstVet

1. Download the FirstVet App and register your pets

Download the FirstVet App in the App Store or Google Play. You can create an account using your email address and mobile phone number. Next, you’ll be asked to create a profile for each of your pets.

2. Schedule a video appointment

Select the pet you’ll be making the appointment for. Pick a date and time that works best for you. Then, ensure that all your pet’s information is up to date in the app. Describe your pet’s symptoms and any questions or concerns you may have for the video call. You can even add pictures or video of your pet when necessary.

3. Your FirstVet video call

We’ll send you an email when it's time for your video call to start. Log in to the app using your smartphone or tablet. One of our experienced vets will take it from there!

4. Professional advice and guidance on next steps

Your FirstVet vet can provide advice and guidance to help you understand what to do next. If your pet may need in-person veterinary attention or urgent care, we can guide you to a local veterinary clinic or emergency facility.
