Dr. Freeman is a 2005 graduate of Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with 18 years experience as a small animal and equine veterinarian and additional certification in acupuncture for pets. Professionally, Dr Freeman enjoys geriatrics and is especially known for helping very old cats live their best life. She is active in the local veterinary association and has served on the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors since graduation. Her hobbies include gourmet food and cooking, reading, horseback riding, shooting and anything ocean, including SCUBA diving. She also is a licensed EMT.
