Dr. David Leatherman earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of California Davis before heading to the southern hemisphere for 5 years to earn his veterinary degree from Murdoch University in Western Australia. Dr. Leatherman practices small animal medicine (dogs and cats) with a keen interest in Canine dermatological issues, including food allergies, and other disease processes that lead to pruritus. It is his firm belief that being constantly itchy has got to be one of the worst existences he can imagine. Outside of work Dr. Leatherman loves to surf his home break at Doheny state beach in Southern California.
