Dr. Elizabeth Wesson received her veterinary degree from the University of Sydney in 2014. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, she started her career as an environmental scientist and worked as a microbat rehabilitator and educator during her undergraduate degree. Since then Dr. Wesson has worked as a general practitioner for small animals and exotics in the U.K. and the U.S. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of animals and educating owners on caring for their pets. Her special interests are feline and exotic medicine, geriatric care and ultrasonography. In her spare time, she enjoys pottery, gardening, yoga and any outdoor activity. She lives in Florida with her husband, son and Devon Rex. Dr. Wesson joined FirstVet in 2023.
