Katelyn is a Registered Veterinary Technician and received her Veterinary Medical Technology degree from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in Asheville, NC in 2020. Since graduating as a veterinary technician, Katelyn has pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Veterinary Health and Management from The University of Tennessee at Martin. Since becoming a technician, Katelyn has become well rounded in emergency and critical care, small animal general practice, large animal medicine, and ultrasonography. She lives on her own farm in Lenoir, NC where she enjoys riding her horses, caring for her goats, alpaca (Sid), and loving on her cow (Petunia). She enjoys exploring the mountains with her horses and dogs around Boone, NC. Katelyn joined FirstVet in 2023.
