Makayla received her Associates of Veterinary Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 2015. She has been working in the veterinary field for the last 13 years, as not only a registered technician, but also kennel help and receptionist in earlier years before earning her degree. Her areas of interest include parasitology and dentistry. She also has certification from Royal Canin’s Pet Nutrition Advisor Program. She is passionate about the care each patient gets, helping owners achieve the best care for their pets possible. She has had numerous areas of experience from emergency medicine, small animals, as well as with livestock. Makayla and her fiancé reside in Ohio on their farm where they raise pigs and cows. Along with their livestock, they have 3 dogs; Beau, a 9 year old Blue Heeler; Kaiah, a 5 year old Labrador Retriever; Dixie, a 1 year old Golden Retriever. In her spare time, Makayla enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as running their custom application business and farming with her fiancé.
