Dr. McKayla Meyer is a 2021 graduate from CSU that has been working as an emergency veterinarian since July 2021. She’s from the Big Island of Hawai’i originally and worked in small animal general practice prior to attending veterinary school and in veterinary school itself. She is very passionate about client communication and education, emergency and preventative medicine, and end of life quality of care. She recently moved to San Diego and is so excited to be closer to family and back on the west coast. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, surfing, and traveling to new places! She recently began embroidering her own clothes and doing pottery on her days off, and loves spending time exercising different parts of her brain. She has 2 Boston Terriers, Kaia and Cava, that love to go on adventures with her and keep her busy!
