Samantha started her career initially in marine biology where she participated in shark research all over the world. However, she found herself at an emergency veterinary practice and fell in love with small animal medicine. She then became a registered veterinary technician in the state of Hawaii. She is currently a mom to one son as well as a kitten that she rescued. She enjoys traveling the world with her family as well as hiking and being in the ocean.
