Dominique is originally from South Africa and came to the UK to start her childhood dream of becoming a vet. She studied veterinary medicine in Warsaw, Poland at SGGW, graduating in 2015. Dominique enjoys every aspect of her veterinary career, and has key interests in acupuncture and dermatology. She works as a small animal veterinarian in the Scottish Highlands for a mixed practice where she is also completing a dermatology certificate, and plans to advance to specialisation in dermatology in the future. A short quote which defines Dominique’s love for her career is one by Steve Jobs: “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Dominique joined FirstVet in September 2021.
