Janet returned to the UK after graduating as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Košice, Slovakia in 2017. She has worked in small animal general practice for 3 years, after which she undertook additional training to work exclusively in Emergency and Critical Care. She currently works as a locum in both emergency and general practice. Janet will be starting a rotating internship at the beginning of 2022. She is also undergoing the examination process to become qualified to practice as a vet in the United States. She has a Persian cat named Cindy, who grew up travelling between Slovakia and Austria but now enjoys long naps on the windowsill. She is looking forward to helping pets and their owners in a stress free environment. Janet joined FirstVet in November 2021.
