Dr Jaynie Matthews Veterinarian

firstvet vet

Jaynie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2009. After graduating, she worked in mixed practice in Aberdeenshire for 5 years, enjoying living on the coast and surfing on the beautiful North East beaches. She and her partner then moved back to central Scotland to continue working with small animals. After working and locuming in a variety of lovely practices, she has most recently joined the PDSA, and is greatly enjoying working for the charity. She spends her free time with her partner and daughter, out walking their Collie dog, Belle. She also loves sewing (when she can find the time!), particularly making clothes for her family and friends. They are hoping to spend the summer camping in Scotland in their very vintage campervan, and the winter enjoying a bit of skiing and snowboarding (and teaching their toddler!). Jaynie joined FirstVet in May 2021.
