Jeanne graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2012. Since she was a little girl she knew she wanted to be a vet. Her parents owned a game farm and she was exposed to a large range of animals from a very young age. Jeanne subsequently followed in her brother’s footsteps to become a vet. She has worked in small animal first opinion practice since qualifying and has a keen interest in both medicine and surgery. Since moving to the UK five years ago she has been based in Surrey. She very recently spent a year working in an out of hours emergency practice, gaining valuable experience in emergency critical care medicine and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her animals, family and friends. She also enjoys skiing, surfing, travelling and cooking. Jeanne joined the FirstVet team in October 2020 and looks forward to helping pet owners from the comfort of their homes.
