Kathy graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2010 and went on to work in a mixed animal practice in North Wales. Following this Kathy undertook training in emergency and critical care with Vets Now and spent several years working in a fantastic small animal practice where she developed a keen interest in ophthalmology and dentistry. 10 years after graduation she is still in North Wales, married to a dairy and 32000 chicken, free range egg farmer. Most importantly she is a proud mum to a 4.5 year old and a one year old. Kathy currently works part time as a government vet and locum in a local small animal practice (when she has the time!). Kathy joined FirstVet in June 2020. She is very excited to be part of the fantastic team of vets at FirstVet and to be able provide such a unique service to pet owners.
