Marketa grew up in the Czech Republic and graduated from the University of Veterinary Sciences in Brno in 2020. She came to the UK on a two-year development programme and never left, staying with the same small animal practice for four years before moving to an independent general practice. She now locums across out-of-hours hospitals and smaller general practices. Her clinical interests are dentistry and soft tissue surgery, and as an Official Veterinarian she can also manage pet imports and exports. At home she has a dog, Twix, and a cat, Lily — so she knows first-hand how much it matters to feel listened to when it's your own pet you're worried about.
