Serena qualified in Italy from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Messina in 2015. Shortly after graduation she moved to the UK where she has been working primarily with small animals. Serena haa been working as a locum veterinary surgeon since 2020 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. Her particular interest is in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. When she is not working Serena spends her time traveling with her husband, spending time outdoors, or taking care of her two rescue cats. Serena speaks English, Italian and Spanish. Serena joined FirstVet in July 2021.
