Yvette knew from the age of 7 that she would become a Veterinary Surgeon one day. She graduated from the University of Porto, Portugal in 2014 and soon after moved to the UK. Having worked in a variety of settings, from large corporates, to smaller independent practices and charities she is now proud to be part of the FirstVet team. Meanwhile, she has developed a special interest in internal medicine and is particularly passionate about the geriatric patients. Yvette speaks fluent English, Dutch and Portuguese. Outside of work she enjoys going for long walks with her dogs and exploring new places. Yvette joined FirstVet in November 2020.
