Ask the vet - Dog
How long after my puppy is vaccinated can it socialise with other dogs?
Vet at FirstVet answers:
The most important socialisation period for a dog is when it is between 6 - 14 weeks of age. It is therefore important for puppies to meet other dogs during this time period to develop social skills. At present (October 2016), it is recommended that a puppy gets its first vaccination (at 8 weeks of age) before it meets other dogs/puppies in controlled environments such as puppy classes. In other circumstances you must wait at least 2 weeks after the puppy’s 12 week vaccination before it can meet other dogs (in for example dog parks).
