Ask the vet - Dog

Should you remove the hair that grows in the ear canal?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

If there is enough space for air passage into the ear canal and the dog does not have any issues with the hair it is unnecessary to remove it. If the dog gets knotted tufts of hair that occlude the opening to the ear canal it is a good idea to pluck the hair away.
