Is it dangerous for dogs to eat cream cake containing strawberries and vanilla?

Cream cake, strawberries and vanilla are not directly poisonous to dogs, but giving it to your dog can result in vomiting and diarrhoea. Cream contains a lot of fat and if given to your dog increases the risk of developing pancreatitis as well as obesity. It is not recommended to feed your dog cake. If you do, only very small amounts should be given, and not on a frequent basis!
