Vet at FirstVet answers:
Normally puppies lose all of their deciduous teeth and have their permanent teeth in place at ca 6 months of age. It is a good idea to examine your puppy’s mouth regularly to check its teeth. If you can see a permanent tooth erupting and the deciduous tooth is still there, you should book an appointment with a veterinarian. The deciduous tooth will likely need to be removed in order to prevent a permanent bite deformity.
