Unfortunately there are no exact recommendations/guidelines regarding the amount of exercise puppies tolerate. As a rule of thumb, the best amount of exercise is the amount a puppy would naturally get from interacting with other puppies of the same age and size.
Puppies often play intensely for a short while and then rest. This means that activities such as playing with an adult dog without supervision in the backyard, playing fetch for long periods or going on long walks is too much for a puppy.
It is often recommended that you do not go outside and physically exercise (i.e. jog and cycle with your dog or let it pull weights) your dog until it is 12-15 months of age.
