Can you tell if your cat has a fever by touching its nose?

Unfortunately you cannot. Cats normally have a slightly wet nose, but it does not mean your cat is sick if its nose is dry. It is however not normal for a cat to have a runny nose. If this is the case it may be wise to contact a veterinarian.
