Ask the vet - Cat

Why is my cat bringing up undigested food?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

Cats commonly bring up undigested food after they wolf their food down. If your cat is a bit of a glutton you can try spreading its food out on a tray, or use a labyrinth/maze bowl to make it eat more slowly. If your cat is not a glutton and has started bringing up undigested food your cat could be suffering from oesophageal, stomach, or intestinal disease. Cats that have very irritated airways can also cough so much that they end up vomiting.

You should consult a veterinarian if your cat vomits more than once a week, has a poor appetite, is losing weight, or seems fatigued.
