How do you apply tick prevention to your cat?

There is always an instruction booklet with illustrated diagrams in the product packaging that informs you on how to apply the tick prevention. Usually the product is placed/dropped onto the skin between the shoulder blades, just behind the neck. Separate the fur and apply the medication directly onto the skin. If you have several cats (or dogs) at home make sure they cannot get to or lick the medication on the day of application.
