Is cheese poisonous to cats?

Cheese is not poisonous to cats but can result in diarrhoea. It is also very high in calories. Giving your cat a small piece of cheese is equivalent to you eating two and a half cheeseburgers as a snack! In other words, treating your cat to cheese on a daily basis will result in obesity and is therefore not recommended.
