Ask the vet - Cat
How do you know if your cat is dehydrated?
Vet at FirstVet answers:
Mild dehydration is difficult to detect just by feeling or looking at your cat. If your cat has been vomiting or had diarrhoea more than once you can expect it to be dehydrated.
Inelastic skin, sunken in eyes, fatigue and pale mucous membranes (such as gums) are signs of severe dehydration. If you find your cat exhibits any of these symptoms you should seek veterinary care. If the dehydration worsens beyond this state your cat can lose consciousness.
