Ask the vet - Cat
How can you tell if a cat is in pain?
Vet at FirstVet answers:
It is not always easy to know when a cat is in pain. Cats do not usually whimper or vocalize when they are painful. More commonly they hide, rest more, or develop a bit of a temper.
Symptoms differ depending on where the cat is painful. For example, if it has a sore leg it might not want to jump up and down onto things, if it has a sore tooth it might only chew its food on one side of its mouth. Never hesitate to consult a veterinarian if you suspect your cat is in pain.
