What can make a cat’s face swell up?

Facial swellings can result from: 

• An abscess after a fight with another cat
• A bee sting
• A snake bite
• An infected tooth
• A tumour

If the cat seems bothered by the swelling or if its mentation is affected you should seek veterinary care immediately.
