Ask the vet - Cat

My cat is eating plastic. Is it doing this because it is suffering from a nutritional deficiency?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

If a cat is being fed a complete feline diet and seems well in itself it is unlikely it has a nutritional deficiency.

Some cats start eating strange things when they have issues with their gastrointestinal tract. In these cases they also often have other symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea and a poor appetite.
