Ask the vet - Cat

My cat is licking itself around its mouth and is pawing at its mouth. What can be bothering it?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

It is very likely there is something in the mouth that should not be there. Examples include foreign bodies stuck between the teeth or a painful, infected or fractured tooth. If the cat is very bothered you should try to get an appointment with a veterinarian as soon as possible.
