Ask the vet - Rabbit

What vegetables can rabbits eat?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

The most important part of a healthy rabbit’s diet is hay. Wild rabbits eat fibre-rich leaves, bark and stems from plants, not fruit. Examples of greens that are good for your rabbit include grass, dandelions, rocket, carrots, beets, broccoli, cabbage, spinach and chard. It is important to note that you should not give your rabbit too much spinach, chard, cabbage or broccoli because an overbundance of them in the diet can cause metabolic disease. The best is to offer your rabbit a small amount of a mixture of the aforementioned vegetables. Carrots and fruit can be given occasionally as treats, and then solely in limited amounts.
