Ask the vet - Rabbit

Can rabbits eat ivy?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

Most ivy is poisonous. The amount of poison varies between different ivy species as well as between the different parts of the plant. If your rabbit has accidentally eaten a small piece of ivy it is unlikely to cause a problem. However, it is important to be mindful of symptoms including diarrhoea, inappetence and fatigue. A veterinarian should be consulted if your rabbit exhibits any such symptoms in conjunction with ivy consumption.
