Ask the vet - Rabbit

How early can bucks (male rabbits) be castrated?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

It is technically possible to castrate a rabbit as soon as both testicles are present in the scrotum. The anaesthetic risk, however, is much higher in very young rabbits. For this reason it is recommended to castrate bucks around 6 months of age.
