Ask the vet - Rabbit

Can a rabbit get an eye infection from a draught?

Vet at FirstVet answers:

Rabbits can live outside and can therefore tolerate draughts inside the home. Eye infections come about from bacterial or viral infections. Sometimes the infections are secondary to physical trauma from for example a foreign body in the eye. Rabbit eyes can also weep without being infected. In these cases the tear canal has become blocked.
